Endodontics

What is Endodontics?
A root canal involves treating conditions affecting the dental pulp (nerve of the tooth). The infected nerve is removed, the area is cleaned, the cavity is filled with a biocompatible material, and the treated space is sealed.
The entire process is performed in a single session, under isolation of the affected tooth, to avoid bacterial contamination, and with a precise apex locator technique and quality materials.
The purpose of endodontics is to preserve the tooth, to avoid its extraction.
