What is Endodontics?

An endodontics consists of curing the affections of the dental pulp (nerve of the tooth). The infected nerve is extracted, the area is cleaned and the hole is filled with a biocompatible material and the treated space is covered.

The entire process is carried out in a single session, under isolation of the affected tooth, to avoid bacterial contamination and with a precise apex locator technique and quality materials.

The purpose of endodontics is to preserve the tooth, avoid its extraction.
